BUDGET: $11,070
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this travel time data collection is to verify the accuracy of travel time data determined by the license plate reading system (henceforth referred to as the Travel Time System). The data will also be used to verify congestion and delay points, and travel characteristics of the study corridor. Tasks include: Collect data for peak and non-peak travel periods. Collect data to calculate the typical free flow travel time. Also collect data during periods of congestion to assess system performance. Identify delay/congestion factors. Collect data to analyze accuracy of system data. PRODUCTS: Raw Data Samples Trajectory of Travel Time System Data with Probe Vehicle Data: Westbound, July 13, 2003Travel time data: 07132002
