 ITS Lab Students Visit STAR Lab at University of Washington • November 2008 As part of an ongoing tradition of exchange, ITS Lab students visited the Smart Transportation Applications and Research Laboratory (STAR Lab) at the University of Washington, Seattle during the Sixth Annual Region X TransNow Conference on November 7, 2008. Yao-Jan Wu and Yegor Malinovskiy, two of the graduate students at UW welcomed ITS Lab students and gave them some information about their current projects. The main focus of the STAR Lab research includes advanced traffic detection technologies and their applications for safer and more effective traffic operations. | ||||
