 ODOT Staff Visit ITS Lab • February 2009 Blake Dye, Stephen Hay, and David Johnson from Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) visited the ITS Lab on February 3, 2009 and gave a presentation about 40+ internship opportunities with ODOT. To develop the next generation of agency leaders, ODOT has created programs for college students and recent graduates to gain meaningful experience with employment opportunities throughout the agency. Students may receive training and experience in areas throughout the organization with some experiences starting in the summer. In the engineering disciplines training and experience are in areas related to Construction Project Management, Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Hydraulic, Structural, and Traffic Engineering.
