  Tim Janes Visits ITS Lab • February 2009 Tim Janes, Advanced Traffic Products Speaker, visited ITS Lab on February 2, 2009 and gave a presentation about Wavetronix Advance Detectors. The Wavetronix Smart Sensors use the latest technology to collect consistently accurate traffic data in high definition. Using the Digital Wave Radar II patent, these smart sensors are able to measure traffic volume, individual vehicle speed, average speed, 85th percentile speed, average headway, average gap, lane occupancy, vehicle classification and presence. Refreshments were also provided for attendees at the beginning of the presentation. | ||||
