Shazia Malik Visits ITS Lab  February 2009
ITS Lab Alumni Shazia Malik visited the ITS Lab on February 25, 2009 to give a presentation about using the VISSIM in the Columbia River Crossing (CRC) project. She talked about the VISSIM model development of I-5 freeway and the calibration process for the CRC project. She was also asked different questions about micro-simulation and VISSIM by students. Shazia received her Master's degree in Civil Engineering from PSU in 2003. She completed her M.S. Project on Observed Dynamic Traffic Features on a Freeway Section With Merges and Diverges, from which a paper was published in the Journal of the Transportation Research Board. Students and faculty were very glad to have her in the ITS Lab after several years. Thanks for coming Shazia!
