Bertini Visits University of Nevada Reno • April 2009 Prof. Bertini visited the University of Nevada Reno on April 1, 2009, where he delivered two invited lectures. First he visited the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the invitation of Prof. Zong Tian, and spoke at the meeting of the Institute of Transportation Engineers Student Chapter Meeting. Bertini presented "Impact of Sensor Spacing on Travel Time Estimation and Information," and enjoyed lunch with the transportation research group. Later, Bertini spoke at the Geography Colloquium, at the invitation of Prof. Tony Brinkman in the Department of Geography. Bertini presented "How Transportation Technology Can Limit the Impact of Future Climate Change" to the group of Geography students and faculty. |
