 ITS Lab Students Active Participants in the ITE Quad Conference, Vancouver B.C. • May 2009 Students from the Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab were very active at the ITE Quad Conference held April 30-May 2, 2009 in Vancouver B.C. Students delivered two presentations: "The Effects of Weather on Freeway Traffic Flow," by Alex Bigazzi and "Collision Diagramming Tool Evaluation," by Josh Crain (co-presented with Brian Copeland from DKS Associates) and three posters" "Temporal Aggregation Effects on ITS Data Applications," by Alex Bigazzi, "Assessment of An Optimal Bus Stop Spacing Model Using High Resolution Archived Stop-level Data," by Huan Li and "Impacts of Sensor Spacing on Accurate Freeway Travel Time Estimation for Traveler Information," by Wei Feng.
