  ITS Lab Spring Hike • May 2009 ITS Lab students celebrated a successful spring by taking a great hike through the Silver Falls. Silver Falls State Park is located near Silverton, about 20 miles (east-southeast of Salem. It is the largest state park in Oregon. There are 10 waterfalls and more than 22 miles of multiple use trails leading to them. These trails took us behind the popular 177-foot South Falls and as well the 136-foot North Falls.
