  ASCE Mini-ExCEEd Teaching Workshop Held in ITS Lab • June 2009 ITS Lab faculty Professors Bertini, Monsere, Figliozzi and Tufte participated in the American Society of Civil Engineers' Mini-ExCEEd (Excellence in Civil Engineering Education) Teaching Workshop, held in the ITS Lab on June 24, 2009. The Workshop was sponsored by the Oregon Transportation Research and Education Consortium (OTREC) and National Institute for Advanced Transportation Technology (NIATT), as part of the national Transportation Education Conference held in Portland June 22-24. The Mini-ExCEEd was taught by Prof. Ronald Welch (University of Texas at Tyler) and Prof. Allen Estes (California Polytechnic State University), who are founders of the ExCEEd program. Ping Wei from ASCE also assisted with the presentation of the workshop. More than 30 professors from around the U.S., Canada and Australia participated in the workshop. | ||||
