 ITS Lab Faculty Host FIRST Lego Robitics Groups • October 2009 Prof Monsere and Tufte (along with Hau Hagedorn from OTREC) hosted three groups of 5-7th graders participating in the First Lego League. The objective of the competition is to "introduce younger students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface.". This year as part of this competition, they are required to do a research on a topic that is relevant to their community -- transportation!! The participants came prepared with detailed and interesting questions to ask PSU faculty. Best of luck to the teams! | ||||
